The Oscars 2014 - My favourite looks

The Oscar's is the most talked about awards shows- no wonder if the people organising the party only invite the A- list celebrities. And, I'm about to follow that trend and show you my favourite looks of the night! So here they are, and what was your favourite look at the Oscars?

Definitely Lupita Nyong'o pale blue,Prada gown was one of my favourites. The gown had a deep neckline and a V cut at the back (just like the front of the dress) and was almost princess-like. To finish off the look, Lupita wore Fred Leighton jewellery and Alice headband.

Angelina Jolie wore an incredible, shimmering gown. The colour matched her skin tone perfectly and if that wasn't enough, the dress was from Elie Saab's collection (and you how much I love his designs). Angelina also wore: Ferragamo shoes and clutch and Robert Procop jewellerr, with a lovely company of Brad Pitt, that wore a Tom Ford suit! Perfection!

At this years Oscars awards, Jennifer Lawrence wore a wonderful red, Dior gown. The dress featured a peplum waist and was sleeveless, making Jen look sophisticated and classy. As for the accessories, Jennifer had Brian Atwood shoes, Ferragamo bag and Neil Lane jewellery. By the way, the way she wore the necklace backwards was really smart...

Sandra Bullock wore an astonishing, navy blue silk. The Alexander McQueen gown had a sweet-heart neckline and was gathered to the left hand side. To finish off this elegant look, Sandra wore matching, Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and had her curly hair swept to one side.

Camila Alves wore an astonishing Gabriela Cadena gown with Charlotte Olympia shoes and simple Lorraine Schwartz jewellery, not forgetting about the matching nude clutch. As for the hot Matthew, we could admire him in a black and white Dolce&Gabbana tuxedo and Christian Louboutin shoes!

Other gowns that stole my heart:
Kate Hudson's cape shouldered Atelier Versace gown with minimal Neil Lane jewellery.

The breath taking Reem Acra gown, which was worn by Jenna Dewan Tatum.

Maria Menounos in Johanna Johnson embellished gown with matching Ashlyn'd clutch, Jimmy Choo shoes and matching jewellery.

Thank you for reading! What was your favourite look from The Oscars?

Elie Saab Spring/Summer Collection 2014- A Lace Garden

Last week, I happened to randomly click on a website that showed you all the new designer collections from Paris Fashion Week and I fell in love with one in particular. The Elie Sabb spring/summer 2014 collection. The collection's theme is the lace garden and I think anyone can wear it as it's not extravagant but calm and down to earth. The thing that grabbed my heart was how feminine each piece looked and the choice in colour, that simply shouted classy, elegant and romantic! I've always been a fan of Elie's work, mostly jewellery, but I'm amazed with this new collection *love from the first sight*

The colours that reign in this collection are: eglantine rose, bougainvillea, verdant green not forgetting about the simple black and white that perfectly linked with the botanical prints, lace frills and feminine embellishments. From tops and bottoms to classy gowns.
Perfection!

What do you think of this collection? Let me know in the comments below!

(This is not the whole collection!)

Check out Nina Dobrev's latest red carpet looks

You might not know this but, I'm a massive fan of Nina Dobrev's style! Not only when she is out on the red carpet but also how she is dressing when she isn't on the big screen.
Anyway, I decided to show you guys four of my favourite stylizations from Nina. So without any further outdo ... Lets start!

At this years Elton John Oscar Party, Nina Dobrev wore a stunning black and white gown from Naeem Khan. The dress was sleeveless and floor sweeping and had a unique pattern (you might not be able to see it on the picture but the dress was backless!!). Having it all under control and not going over the top, Nina had a matching black and white glittery Swarovski clutch, Barbara Bui shoes and Chopard jewellery. In my opinion Nina looked very feminine and flawless.

Nina Dobrev wore a pink, full lengthened Elie Saab gown at this years SAG awards (Screen Actors Guild Party). The dress was pink, which suited her skin colour and a matching pink, thin belt on the waistline. To complete the look, Nina had: a box shaped clutch from Judith Lieber that had lots of pink and silver diamonds on it, Jimmy Choo shoes and a Neil Lane jewellery. Nina looked absolutely stunning!

At the SAG awards pre party 2103 , Nina showed up in a casual floral, patterned Matthew Williamson maxi dress. You can tell that the lovely dress has been made from a very delicate and light fabric, which I think has been very suitable for the occasion. The dress has been separated with a black and silver belt at the waistline, high lighting her figure. To finish off the look, Nina brought a Elie Saab clutch. I think Nina picked a perfect dress for that occasion, don't you?

At the Emmy Awards, Nina Dobrev looked DROP DEAD GORGEOUS in the Donna Karan red, fitted and floor sweeping gown. The dress was strapless and in the "mermaid tail" style. To make it even more outrages and glamorous, Nina paired the gown with a beautiful sparkling necklace, that was filled with shiny diamonds and Neil Lane stud earrings. Personally, I think that Nina looked very elegant and feminine in that stylization, perfect for such a big event.

Which one is your favourite look of Nina's? Let me know in the comments! :D
