The Oscars 2014 - My favourite looks

The Oscar's is the most talked about awards shows- no wonder if the people organising the party only invite the A- list celebrities. And, I'm about to follow that trend and show you my favourite looks of the night! So here they are, and what was your favourite look at the Oscars?

Definitely Lupita Nyong'o pale blue,Prada gown was one of my favourites. The gown had a deep neckline and a V cut at the back (just like the front of the dress) and was almost princess-like. To finish off the look, Lupita wore Fred Leighton jewellery and Alice headband.

Angelina Jolie wore an incredible, shimmering gown. The colour matched her skin tone perfectly and if that wasn't enough, the dress was from Elie Saab's collection (and you how much I love his designs). Angelina also wore: Ferragamo shoes and clutch and Robert Procop jewellerr, with a lovely company of Brad Pitt, that wore a Tom Ford suit! Perfection!

At this years Oscars awards, Jennifer Lawrence wore a wonderful red, Dior gown. The dress featured a peplum waist and was sleeveless, making Jen look sophisticated and classy. As for the accessories, Jennifer had Brian Atwood shoes, Ferragamo bag and Neil Lane jewellery. By the way, the way she wore the necklace backwards was really smart...

Sandra Bullock wore an astonishing, navy blue silk. The Alexander McQueen gown had a sweet-heart neckline and was gathered to the left hand side. To finish off this elegant look, Sandra wore matching, Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and had her curly hair swept to one side.

Camila Alves wore an astonishing Gabriela Cadena gown with Charlotte Olympia shoes and simple Lorraine Schwartz jewellery, not forgetting about the matching nude clutch. As for the hot Matthew, we could admire him in a black and white Dolce&Gabbana tuxedo and Christian Louboutin shoes!

Other gowns that stole my heart:
Kate Hudson's cape shouldered Atelier Versace gown with minimal Neil Lane jewellery.

The breath taking Reem Acra gown, which was worn by Jenna Dewan Tatum.

Maria Menounos in Johanna Johnson embellished gown with matching Ashlyn'd clutch, Jimmy Choo shoes and matching jewellery.

Golden Globes fashion reviews #4 Classy in lace

Lace, lace, lace... A trend from last year's Golden Globes that has come back in a new version (didn't say better...). Can you go wrong with lace? Definitely! But luckily not this year!

At this years Golden Globes, Louise Roe wore an elegant orange Monique Lhuillier gown that had a delicate lace detail on the sleeves and neckline. The dress matched her skin complexion and highlighted her figure, which is probably what she was going for... Louise also had Jimmy Choo shoes (which you can't really see, as the dress was floor sweeping), minimum Chopard jewellery and a gorgeous sparkly clutch!

Leslie Mann wore a Dolce&Gabbana black lace gown. There was a lot of going on, on the dress, as it was decorated with lace, sleeveless and peplum! But all together the dress looked beautiful and Leslie looked very feminine in it. Not forgetting about the accessories, which in this case were: a gold Bottenga Veneta clutch, Neil Lane jewellery and Jimmy Choo shoes.

Cate Blanchett also wore a black lace Armani gown (just from a different designer). The dress featured a plunging backless detail and short sleeves. Smartly matcing it with statement diamond earrings. Cate looked classy and feminine in this lace, tulle gown! Don't you think?

Golden Globes fashion reviews #3 All that glitter

Let's focus on glitter and embellishments! I just couldn't miss out on this popular dress decoration. Obviously some celebrities represented themselves better than others, but that's just a whole different story...

Kate Beckinsale wore a stunning Zuhair Murad fishtail gown, that featured a ton of glittery embellishments. The dress had a sweet-heart neckline and high-lighted Kate's figure perfectly. Smartly, matching this out of this world gown, with Jimmy Choo shoes, Edie Parker black clutch and diamond Chopard jewellery, not forgetting about the loose updo. But I think this gown would do with a diamond necklace, to match the earrings, add more shine to the look and so that her neck doesn't look as naked... Over all, Kate looked very feminine and sophisticated.

Other celebrities that have wore an embellished gowns are:

Michelle Dockery wore a Oscar de la Renta gown, that featured gold sequins and embroidery flower details. The dress was strapless with a bit shorter hemline at the front that gradually became longer towards the back. Perfectly matching the dress with nude Christian Louboutin heels and Bulgari jewellery. But, yet again I think a simple, thin necklace would have completed this look.
I think the gown looks quite simple when you look at it, but the shorter hemline and the shiny embellishments make it look more interesting and glamorous.

Camila Alves (Matthew McConaughey wife) wore a beautiful black sequinned Dolce&Gabbana gown, which was floor length and quite tight, with Cartier ring and tear drop, diamond earrings. Camila had her hair curled and swept to one side.
(By the way, don't they look awesome together?)

Thank you for reading, what do you think of these gowns?

Best dressed at the People's Choice Awards 2014 #2 / Najlepiej ubrani na People's Choice Awards

People's Choice Awards 2014 have recently taken place and I've seen lots of beautifully dressed people but I didn't overlook the badly dressed ones! So, I decided to share my opinion on best and worst dressed at the People's Choice Awards 2014! I have picked the worst dressed not because they looked awful but because something wasn't right, or was over the top!

Best dressed-
Another best dressed at this year's People's Choice Awards was Sandra Bullock, as she wore a beautiful Peter Pilotto dress that was covered with different shades of leave patterns. The dress featured a navy blue stripe at the top and a white, thick stripe along the waistline, which gave the effect of separation of the top and bottom of the dress, and highlighted Sandra's figure.
The bottom of the dress looked like someone has pulled and ripped it, making it look like there are leaves sewn onto the bottom (which I think made the dress look more unique). The whole outfit was then completed with a pair of matched lime green Kurt Geiger shoes and a Jimmy Choo navy clutch.

Check out Nina Dobrev's latest red carpet looks

You might not know this but, I'm a massive fan of Nina Dobrev's style! Not only when she is out on the red carpet but also how she is dressing when she isn't on the big screen.
Anyway, I decided to show you guys four of my favourite stylizations from Nina. So without any further outdo ... Lets start!

At this years Elton John Oscar Party, Nina Dobrev wore a stunning black and white gown from Naeem Khan. The dress was sleeveless and floor sweeping and had a unique pattern (you might not be able to see it on the picture but the dress was backless!!). Having it all under control and not going over the top, Nina had a matching black and white glittery Swarovski clutch, Barbara Bui shoes and Chopard jewellery. In my opinion Nina looked very feminine and flawless.

Nina Dobrev wore a pink, full lengthened Elie Saab gown at this years SAG awards (Screen Actors Guild Party). The dress was pink, which suited her skin colour and a matching pink, thin belt on the waistline. To complete the look, Nina had: a box shaped clutch from Judith Lieber that had lots of pink and silver diamonds on it, Jimmy Choo shoes and a Neil Lane jewellery. Nina looked absolutely stunning!

At the SAG awards pre party 2103 , Nina showed up in a casual floral, patterned Matthew Williamson maxi dress. You can tell that the lovely dress has been made from a very delicate and light fabric, which I think has been very suitable for the occasion. The dress has been separated with a black and silver belt at the waistline, high lighting her figure. To finish off the look, Nina brought a Elie Saab clutch. I think Nina picked a perfect dress for that occasion, don't you?

At the Emmy Awards, Nina Dobrev looked DROP DEAD GORGEOUS in the Donna Karan red, fitted and floor sweeping gown. The dress was strapless and in the "mermaid tail" style. To make it even more outrages and glamorous, Nina paired the gown with a beautiful sparkling necklace, that was filled with shiny diamonds and Neil Lane stud earrings. Personally, I think that Nina looked very elegant and feminine in that stylization, perfect for such a big event.

Which one is your favourite look of Nina's? Let me know in the comments! :D

Check out Selena Gomez latest red carpet looks

Selena Gomez has been very busy recently, promoting her new movie "Spring Breakers" that I really want to see, and attending awards nights ! So, I want to show you her latest stylizations that I fell in love with straight away, here are some of them :)

Selena Gomez wore this beautiful dress at the "Spring Breakers" premiere in Palazzo del Cinema on September 5 in Venice, Italy, for the 2012 Venice Film Festival. The actress and singer wore a Versace Atelier dress, Sergio Rossi shoes, Lorraine Swartz jewellery and Judith Leiber clutch. Personally, I think that the colour of the dress really matched her skin tone and was a perfect choice for the occasion. Don't you think?

At another premiere of Spring Breakers, but this time in Berlin, Germany Selena stepped away from the glamorous dresses and put on something more casual; a suit! The black with thin stripes and gold shoulder pads, suit was from Atelier Versace that then she matched with a pair of heels from Casadei and jewellery from Melinda Maria. I have to say that I'am quite pleased with this stylization, she showed a completely different side of her and instead of looking like a cute little girl, she looked like an independent woman, which is probably what Sel was aiming at.

On the Wednesday afternoon, Selena Gomez showed of at the red carpet at the Palazzo del Casino dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana (fall 2012) black lace dress with gold embroidered detail, which made her look mature and grown up  -for her age as she is only 20 years old- but still very girly! The dress was then matched with Jimmy Choo strappy sandals and gold earrings from Melinda Maria. Beautiful!

At the, Weinstein Company party and the InStyle/Warner Bros party, Selena was dressed in a metallic/ robot gold Atelier Versace dress with, what might look like big flower detail randomly placed around the dress. To be honest, this dress looked more to me like a skirt and a corset put together. Also, the actress matched her gold dress with a pair of nude heels. Fantastic!

At the TIFF's, Selena Gomez wore a fantastic Marchesa dress, with a lace top (that had shiny gems and white swirls ) and a swirly almost wavy bottom. Which made Sel stand out from the crowd as the dress was very unique and unusual -this made her look very girly and sophisticated - Selena matched the dress with a pair of high heeled sandals and a Melinda Maria ring and Dana Rebecca Designs earrings.

What do you think of Selena's Gomez latest new look?  Let me know in the comments :D
