My March Favourites!

Wow, I still can't believe that March has came to an end... it went soo fast, don't you think?
As it is the end of the month, I decided to do another ' last months favourites'  but this time is MARCH! This time, there is more 'my favourites' this month. (make sure you check out my January favourites. http://strawberryandcherry1.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/january-favourites.html )

Favourite TV show
This month I have a lot of favourite TV shows, which are: The walking dead, Pretty little liars and The vampire diaries.

Favourite movie
Wolverine, I have only just seen that movie 2 weeks ago and its AMAZING and The Notebook that I have seen on Friday (I just couldn't keep my tears to myself at the end )

 

Favourite snack
Crisps, really unhealthy but soo good!

Favourite drink
Hot chocolate, the weather is still cold so I have to warm myself up somehow.

Favourite accessories
Bobby pins, might sound like nothing, but there is no way I could do anything with my hair without using couple of those.

 Favourite cosmetics
Lip balm, its so cold outside that I can't leave my house until I have lip balm on.

Favourite clothing piece
Sweaters, which I think are perfect for the weather that is in UK.

I have found something!

So, recently I have been on Ebay looking for some accessories and I have came across these beautiful HAND MADE Easter inspirited baubles! They had lots of different designs (such as; baubles with a sign saying Happy Easter, baubles with Easter bunnies and lots more!) and I was amazed with how unique they look and still couldn't get over the fact that it was hand made. There are some very talented people in this world, seriously. So, I wanted to share this with you guys because I think this would be a perfect Easter decoration, it's unique and I bet that everyone will be asking you were you got that from!

Golden Globes, Jennifer Lawrence dress review

At last years Golden Globes awards there have been a lot of great dressed people (CHECK OUT MY 'A WEEK OF GOLDEN GLOBES DRESS REVIEWS' POSTS) but today I want to share my thoughts on the dress that Jennifer Lawrence wore at the Golden Globes award night. 

Jennifer Lawrence is a talented actress that probably everyone noticed already and she obviously wanted to also show that through dressing very beautifully at the awards night. Jennifer wore a blood red dress that went well with her skin tone, from Dior Haute Coutur. The dress was strapless and had a simple neckline that I think gave off that retro ,60's, vibe. The actress has also thrown a black belt around her waist to define her figure and add some texture to her look. I think that the dress was almost princess-like as it was a full-length dress that went really 'puffy' at the bottom- which gave the look of the princess ball gown.

Check out Selena Gomez latest red carpet looks

Selena Gomez has been very busy recently, promoting her new movie "Spring Breakers" that I really want to see, and attending awards nights ! So, I want to show you her latest stylizations that I fell in love with straight away, here are some of them :)

 

 Selena Gomez wore this beautiful dress at the "Spring Breakers" premiere in Palazzo del Cinema on September 5 in Venice, Italy, for the 2012 Venice Film Festival. The actress and singer wore a Versace Atelier dress, Sergio Rossi shoes, Lorraine Swartz jewellery and Judith Leiber clutch. Personally, I think that the colour of the dress really matched her skin tone and was a perfect choice for the occasion. Don't you think?

  At another premiere of Spring Breakers, but this time in Berlin, Germany Selena stepped away from the glamorous dresses and put on something more casual; a suit! The black with thin stripes and gold shoulder pads, suit was from Atelier Versace that then she matched with a pair of heels from Casadei and jewellery from Melinda Maria. I have to say that I'am quite pleased with this stylization, she showed a completely different side of her and instead of looking like a cute little girl, she looked like an independent woman, which is probably what Sel was aiming at.

 On the Wednesday afternoon, Selena Gomez showed of at the red carpet at the Palazzo del Casino dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana (fall 2012) black lace dress with gold embroidered detail, which made her look mature and grown up  -for her age as she is only 20 years old- but still very girly! The dress was then matched with Jimmy Choo strappy sandals and gold earrings from Melinda Maria. Beautiful!

At the, Weinstein Company party and the InStyle/Warner Bros party, Selena was dressed in a metallic/ robot gold Atelier Versace dress with, what might look like big flower detail randomly placed around the dress. To be honest, this dress looked more to me like a skirt and a corset put together. Also, the actress matched her gold dress with a pair of nude heels. Fantastic!

 At the TIFF's, Selena Gomez wore a fantastic Marchesa dress, with a lace top (that had shiny gems and white swirls ) and a swirly almost wavy bottom. Which made Sel stand out from the crowd as the dress was very unique and unusual -this made her look very girly and sophisticated - Selena matched the dress with a pair of high heeled sandals and a Melinda Maria ring and Dana Rebecca Designs earrings.

Salma Hayek at the independent spirit awards!

At the Independent Spirit Awards at the Santa Monica Beach on Saturday, February 23, in Santa Monica, Calif Salma Hayek wore a gorgeous knitted, beige dress from Alexander McQueen (pre-fall 2013), in fact the Latin actress was dressed head to toe in the Alexander McQueen collection; counting in the black belt and the clutch.

At the top of the arms the dress had puffy sleeves and then at the elbow it was tight, and again it was tight around the wrists, which by all means was very original and unique! The dress overall was VERY beautiful and Salam Hayek looked very pretty in it! Also the dress was above the knee length; revelling her tanned legs!The actress obviously couldn't come to the awards without wearing just any shoes, they had to shock! So she decided to wear a pair of black high heels with a "toe hole" and gold studs around them and a gold skull.

The independent spirit awards 2013! Best dressed

Today I wanted to tell you guys who, in my opinion, was the best dressed at the "Independent spirit awards"  2013!
So, let's get started....

Best Dressed at the "independent spirit awards" 2013 is:
NINA DOBREV

Nina Dobrev: running away from the typical cocktail dresses that celebrities wear for the awards; Nina wanted to look different and chosen a fabulous white, sparkly top and shorts (revelling her gorgeous legs) from Michael Kors and still being able to look glam. To top it all up, Nina has put on a shiny gold belt around the waist, that was also from +Michael Kors.
Miss Dobrev has matched her gold and white outfit with a pair of gold strappy sandals from +Jimmy Choo  and a lovely H.Stern ring. As for the hair, the actress kept it simple and had her hair pulled back into a beachy, casual ponytail.

Polish- Nina Dobrev: chcąc uciec od typowych sukienek koktajlowych, które gwiazdy zawsze ubierają  na rozdania nagród; Nina chciała się wyróżnić i ubrała wspaniałą białą, świecącą bluzkę ze spodenkami (pokazują przy tym swoje wspaniałe nogi) od Micheal Korrs ale i nawet w tej stylizacji Nina'ie udało się wyglądać niesamowicie. A na koniec ,Nina miała ubrany dopasowany złoty pasek, który również był od Micheal Kors'a, i pasujące złote sandały z paskami od Jimmy Choo'sa. Przecież Nina nie mogła zapomnieć o biżuterii i dobrała cudowny pierścionek od H.Stern'a. A jeżeli chodzi o fryzurę to, akorka chyba chciała utrzymać się na torach skromności i ułożyła sobie włosy w plażowego kitka.
