How to avoid green stains on skin and jewellery

This is going to be a quick and basic post on how to avoid these horrible green stains that you can get on your favourite jewellery or even on your skin, which doesn't look so appealing...
Why do the green stains appear? Basically because of the chemicals reactions, the metal that your ring, bracelet or earrings are made out of is not 100% pure, therefore when they come in contact with water the metal will start to turn green. So, when you wash your hands or have a shower remember to ALWAYS take off your jewellery!

But what happens when your jewellery already starts to turn green and stains your skin? Simply, paint it with a clear nail polish! For example, if your ring turns your fingers green, paint the inside of the ring, wait for it to dry and you'll be good to go! Just remember to repeat this every time you put on the ring or just repeat it regularly.

So, basically:
Tip #1 -  avoid contact of your jewellery with water or any other liquids.

Tip #2 - use a clear nail polish to avoid the green stained jewellery from staining your skin.

Thank you for reading, I hope this helped! Take care.
